There are four Boards that members can be invited to join to help with the various aspects of running the Church.
Trustees are representatives for all legal transactions of the church (investments, memorials, etc.). They make decisions regarding policy changes, out of budget expenses. Trustees meet as needed.
Elders help promote the spiritual growth of the congregation. All members and regular attendees are assigned an elder. Elders will contact their members periodically and be available to them as needed. They serve at the Communion table each Sunday and bring the importance of the offering before the congregation. They meet monthly with the pastor to discuss issues of
Deacons The Diaconate is responsible for helping to facilitate the flow of worship on Sunday morning by the preparation, serving and clean up of Communion. They greet, hand out bulletins, and light the candles for worship. They are also responsible for the physical set up of outside worship in the summer.
General board (voting board) Approves policy changes and changes to the budget over $250. Meets as needed.
