Sandwich Ministry

Contact: Joanne Turner

Description: Our Sandwich Ministry now serves the New Genesis men's shelter (17th & Sherman).  This is a 100-bed transitional shelter for which we supply sack lunches twice a week. Bread is donated from Panera Bakery and needs picked up and delivered to the church.  Lunches are made at the church and delivered on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  Volunteers are always welcome -contact the church office for times.

4th Friday Night Out

Contact:Joan Benson

Description: Every 4th Friday Night 6 – 9 pm, church members are invited to sign up to bring their children by the church for a few hours of free babysitting by other church members. We try to have a one to one ratio of children to adults. We serve them dinner, have craft projects, videos, and, of course, play time with the other children. We need about 8 adults each month to bring a food item and interact

with the children in the dining room of the church. We all stay together in one room for children ages infant to 12.
