Children and Youth

 

All children and youth are invited to get involved at South Broadway Christian Church.  All adults working with youth have current background checks on file.

 

Infants & Toddlers: Up to 3 years old

• Our nursery is staffed on Sunday mornings with professional caretakers and your children will be provided with a fun and safe environment.

 

Children's Programs: Pre-K to 3rdGrade​

• Children's Sermon & Woship and Wonder:   Children are asked to join the congregation during the beginning of worship and then encouraged to come to the front of the sanctuary for the Children's Sermon.  Following this time, children may leave the sanctuary and attend Worship and Wonder in the Balcony House (above Great Hall) where a nationally-recognized, interactive learning model is presented during the remainder of the service.  

 

Youth Programs: 3rd Grade to 12th Grades 

 

Our youth are a deeply valued part of our congregation and active participants in the church community!

 

• JYF: Grades 3-5

• Chi Rho: Grades 6-8

• CYF: Grades 9-12

• Church Camp: Youth have the chance to attend summer camp at LaForet Camp and Conference Center in the Black Forest, Colorado.  This is run through our regional denomination (www.crmrdoc.org).
