Spring Planting Day
Sunday May 24th - The Yard and Garden - Following Worship
There’s something sacred about putting your hands in the soil.
You’re invited to join our Green Chalice team for a Spring Planting Day in our community garden as we prepare for the season ahead. Together, we’ll plant summer crops that will nourish our bodies and wildflowers that will nourish the land—creating space for both sustenance and beauty to grow side by side.
This is more than just gardening. It’s a chance to live into who we say we are: a community that cares for creation, tends what has been entrusted to us, and shares in the work together. Whether you’ve been gardening for years or have never picked up a shovel, there’s a place for you here.
We’ll have roles for everyone—planting, watering, organizing, and simply being present. Come for an hour or stay for the whole time. Bring gloves if you have them, but we’ll have what you need.
As we plant, we also practice something deeper: connection—to the earth, to one another, and to the hope that what we grow today will feed both our neighbors and our spirits in the months ahead.
Come grow with us.
