OUR FUTURE STORY
Dustin is our Acting Senior Minister. He has served three congregations in both the Churches of Christ and Disciples of Christ, at various times as Worship Leader, Youth Minister, Young Adult Minister, and Associate Minister. He is also the South Broadway church Historian. This is his second time to serve the South Broadway Church in a ministry capacity, having served here before from 2003-2006. He has worked with several other congregations doing pulpit fill, as well as working with the community at large officiating weddings and funerals. He is active in Regional Church activities, and also worked with our General Church to help form the first Young Adult Commission, which coordinates young adult work within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He is presently working on the South Broadway Church history. He holds a B.A. in Ministry, and is a seminary student. He enjoys reading, cooking, and working on vintage radios. He loves working with kids and is absolutely certain that work is the only reason he hasn’t completely fallen off the deep end.
Chris is our Administrative Assistant. She lives by the motto, "If it’s not fun, I don’t want to do it!” That's why she claims to have the best job in the world. Next to raising her two children, she ranks her involvement in this church community as one of her greatest experiences. A member of South Broadway Christian Church for over 60 years, and in the role of Administrative Assistant since 1997, Chris is the reason many things get done at South Broadway. She loves that her job at the church enables her to be engaged and involved with real people in real life situations. Chris truly embodies the adventurous "can-do" spirit that she loves best about this community.
Ann has been the choir director at South Broadway since 2000. She enjoys working with the church choir and other musicians to create music to add to worship. She is currently employed at Century Middle School as the choir and orchestra teacher. When she finds spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter.
Gerald joined the SBCC Staff in 2015. He has served as Organist, pianist, and choir accompanist in five states and in several denominations. Gerald's passion involves his love for music and his wonderful family.
