February sees the beginning of Lent, Week of Compassion Offering and Church World Service Blanket Ministry.
Week of Compassion is the relief, refugee and development mission fund of the Christian Church DOC.  WOC works with partners to alleviate suffering throughout the world, with a vision of a world where God's people transform suffering into HOPE.  Offering will be taken Feb. 18 and 25.
Church World Service blanket ministry offers comfort and security to those who may not have a safe place to live or sleep. Blankets may be purchased for $10 each.
